I'm Julien Van Aerschot, a Brussels composer with a diverse background (neo-classical, pop, rock, electro), pianist and singer, lover of story-telling in all its forms.
I'm developing myself in music for image via short and medium films but also for theater (music & sounddesign).
This year (2023-24) has been rich in collaboration, working on 7 short films, 2 of which are 30 minutes long.

July 2023 I followed a musical composition course for Series & Films in Vienna with composer John Lunn (Downton Abbey) at the Hollywood Music Workshop.
I collaborate with the Free House and their space dedicated to music production, in addition to my home studio.
I'm a versatile musician, attentive to the director/narration/production and creative in return.
